Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using XCraft ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. XCraft is operated by George Kal ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of the Service

XCraft is an AI-powered writing tool that helps users create, schedule, and publish content on X (Twitter). Features include voice-trained AI drafting, topic discovery from curated RSS sources, reply assistance, performance insights, and direct posting to X.

3. Account and access

• You must sign in with a valid X (Twitter) account via OAuth 2.0
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must not share your account or grant access to unauthorized third parties
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or X's Terms of Service

4. Free trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with limited usage (50 AI generations per month and 20 posts per day). No credit card is required to start a trial. When the trial ends, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using premium features.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Polar, which acts as our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you also agree to Polar's terms of service.

• Pro plan: $15/month. 200 AI generations per month, 25 posts per day, priority support
• Add-ons: One-time top-ups are available for additional AI generations ($2 for 30 generations) and additional daily posts ($5 for 50 posts)

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

6. Cancellation and refunds

• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period
• Since Polar is our Merchant of Record, all refund requests are handled through Polar. Contact [email protected] if you need assistance with a refund, and we will coordinate with Polar on your behalf
• Add-on purchases are non-refundable once credits have been applied to your account

7. Usage limits and fair use

• Each plan includes specific limits on AI generations per month and posts per day. Limits are enforced server-side
• Usage counters reset monthly (AI generations) and daily (posts). Unused quota does not roll over
• We reserve the right to adjust plan limits with reasonable notice
• Automated or programmatic abuse of the Service (such as scripting bulk actions outside of the app) is not permitted

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use XCraft to:

• Violate X's Terms of Service, rules, or policies
• Generate spam, misleading content, or engagement manipulation at scale
• Impersonate other individuals or entities
• Distribute harmful, illegal, or abusive content
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, authentication, or security measures
• Resell or redistribute XCraft access or its generated outputs as a competing service

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if we determine you are violating these terms.

9. AI-generated content

• Content generated by XCraft is produced by third-party AI models (via OpenRouter or Notion AI). We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or quality of generated content
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and publishing any content generated through the Service
• You own the content you create and publish through XCraft. We do not claim ownership of your posts, drafts, or generated outputs
• AI outputs may occasionally produce content that is inaccurate, inappropriate, or that resembles existing content. You should review all outputs before publishing

10. X (Twitter) integration

• XCraft connects to X via OAuth 2.0 and requires permissions to read your posts and post on your behalf
• You can revoke XCraft's access to your X account at any time through your X account settings
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. XCraft is an independent third-party tool
• Changes to X's API, policies, or availability may affect XCraft's functionality. We are not responsible for disruptions caused by X platform changes

11. Third-party services

XCraft relies on third-party services including OpenRouter (AI), Polar (payments), and the X API. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. Your use of features powered by these services is also subject to their respective terms.

12. Intellectual property

• The XCraft application, branding, and original code are our intellectual property
• You retain ownership of your content (posts, drafts, voice profile data)
• We may use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the Service

13. Limitation of liability

XCraft is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service
• We are not responsible for any impact on your X account (including suspension, reduced reach, or follower loss) resulting from content posted through XCraft
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose

14. Service availability

We aim to keep XCraft available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of XCraft after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active users.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Athens, Greece.
